SBE Member and Bailey Award Recipient Bob Langer has been named the 2012 recipient of the Priestley Medal for his research in controlled-release pharmaceuticals and tissue engineering. Dr. Langer recently presented a webinar for SBE's Bailey Webinar Series.

Call for Papers is now available for SBE's Sustainability in (Bio)Pharmaceuticals conference. Be sure to submit papers for consideration by October 31st. The conference is co-organized by the Institute for Sustainability and will be held February 19-22, 2012 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
